    • In June, our club goes online – since the 17th, it has its own website – address – to remind you again – is http://www.johndenverclub.org
    • Some of our trees bear fruits for the first time. We test them and find --- TASTE GREAT!!!
    • On August 22nd, the club takes action as the promoter of a benefit concert for unicef in the church in Sinzig; Jos van den Brom, a.k.a. John Adams, sings, to the joy of the (to our joy) numerous people in the audience, well-known and less known John Denver songs. The collection for unicef at the end of the concert sums up to 2,635 DM, which Gabi can proudly present to the representative of the organization.

    • October 12th is proclaimed "John Denver Day" in Aspen.

    • Our trip to the USA last year leads to a new idea for a donation – Marion Iaccarino and Gaby Schech use of their skills to, first planned as a decoration for the Weekend, change John's songs into aquarells. The result is so wonderful that we spontaneously decide to sell the paintings, and to do so to support the John Denver Meadowlands on the Windstar property. Also because both artists dis-pense with compensation for their expenses, we are able to send 2,100 $, respectively about 4,095 DM, to Snowmass in December.
